Crucial in the learning experience is that students get the oppurtunity to give a Thai massage to the teacher on a regular basis. Advanced Thai Massage Course

Thai Massage advanced course is a great next step to for anybody serious about Thai massage. Students who attended this course are amazed by what they learned and how it changed their perspective on Thai Massage; the advanced techniques (deep and therapeutic), how to use the body without muscle power and say that you can not learn this at any other school in Chiang Mai.

 

In this massage course I am not teaching you not any new sequence, but helping to develop your massage to a new level. I will be learning (and correcting) you the right body mechanism, so you will be able to massage more effortless, how to change your massage to a more therapeutic massage, many very interesting advanced techniques, how to use elbow, knee, feet to massage, and individually work with you, helping you to adjust techniques, body position, pressure best suited to your body type.

Side position Thai Massage Course

 

Giving you the possibility to solve back and shoulders problems.




In this course we will explore the limitless possibilities of the side position. Side position is probably the most interesting position within Thai Massage, but in most Chiang Mai schools (and sequences) just a few techniques are taught for this position.

The side position is very beneficial to treat hips, abdominal, lower back, back, shoulders, chest and neck from. Especially these days, so many people have back issues and shoulder problems, which makes the side position crucial, because they can easy be treated in this position.


In this course you will be learning a complete side position sequence, starting from the feet and ending at the neck, furthermore extra techniques which will give you more flexibility, when people need extra pressure, or which are more suited to your body type

Upper Body Massage Course (85 techniques)




A great massage skill to have, since so many people are having problems in the neck area.


This is a very special course, which gives you as a practioner a range of possibilities. You can use this massage as a supplement to your (Thai) Massage
or as a very relaxing stand alone massage.



This course I especially designed, because I noticed that Thai Massage was lacking in problem areas as neck, shoulders and chest. These days so many people are holding tension or are having problems at these areas. So for u as a therapist it is very beneficial how to solve this tension. The head/face massage in Thai Massage is often neglected or done in a very unsubtle way . The upper body massage
is done with the client lying on his back.

• - A very beautiful and relaxing and meditative massage of shoulders, chest, neck, head, ears and face,

Abdominal Chi Massage (Chi Nei Tsang) courses



3. A very popular treatment coming from the Chinese Tao tradition, where Abdominal Chi Massage is known as Chi Nei Tsang. In our abdomanon and their organs we are holding and storing a lot of physical and emotional tension.

The 1 month Thai Massage intensive foundation course (Beginners)




The goal of the 1 month intensive course is to give beginning students a firm foundation so that after this month you will have enough skill, experience and knowledge to be a good massage therapist.


Like I said before learning Thai Massage takes time and having been teaching many students the beginning principles of Thai Massage. I know there is only so much one can learn in a week. Many students who start with high expectations after a week understand that it will take time to learn Thai Massage and are sometimes disheartened. Other students move on to an advanced course (or a different level) without mastering the beginning principles of Thai Massage or change to another school which only creates more confusion

 

The first steps of learning Thai Massage are very important, because it is very easy to grow into bad habits and there is so much to master


- How to use your body (body mechanism)
- More then 150 techniques

- How to apply different amount of pressures
- How to move the body of the client, etc

• Students with questions about their massage skills, their sequence or want to know how to improve their skills can do a private tuition with me. This is not a formal course, but a tailormade course according to the needs and wants of you. Normally we start by you the students gives me a 1/2 hour massage. Then afterwards together we can make an assesment at what level you are, what you would like to learn. From there I will make a lesson plan

Course: Thai massage stretching



• One of parts which makes Thai massage so unique and popular is the applied stretching. The feed back I receive from my customers, that they just loved to be stretched. In a standard Thai Massage (or when studying), mostly the stretching will be limited to a beckbend and a twist. Which is unfortunate, because there are so many interesting and cool stretches you can use in your massage to make your Thai massage stand out .

• In the course Thai Massage stretching you will be learning a great number of stretches and variations. Furthermore you will be learning the right body mechanisms for ever stretch (means how to use you body and body weight) plus some tips how to help your customer to deepen their stretching.
