"I studied with Remco the Thai Massage course advanced. It was intense and very rewarding. I have been to a fair few well known schools to study Thai massage, and was disappointed with many of them and the quality of teaching. But I was very happy studying Thai Massage with Remco. He has excellent knowledge, gained from extensive experience studying with one of Thailand's master's. He is patient, precise and thorough - we often spent over half an hour on just one compression, which sometimes sent my head into a spin! Without really knowing it, the techniques of Thai massage that I learned from Remco at were exactly what I had come to Thailand to study. I’m a professional massage therapist from the US and had some knowledge of Thai massage but wanted to go to Thailand to learn it the right way. I studied for three weeks at one other Thai massage school in Chiang Mai, which was a good foundation, but didn’t teach me deeper, therapeutic techniques that I wanted to use for my clients at home. Finding Remco was a revelation. The techniques he taught me allow me to work as deeply as I need with clients, using no muscle power. By being able to stay relaxed during a massage, I can provide effective massage without hurting myself. I can give more massages and have a longer carreer. Also, by my staying relaxed, clients are able to accept more pressure and I am more receptive to changes in their body.
